Jules Renard said “On earth there is no heaven, but there are pieces of it” – well, one of those pieces of heaven just so happens to lie outside our doors: Seven Mile Beach.
Despite the name, Seven Mile Beach is, in fact, closer to 6.3 miles (10.1 km), but that doesn’t in any way diminish the spectacular beauty of this sandy haven. Miles of pristine white sandy beach and hypnotizing turquoise blue waters as far as the eye can see – Seven Mile Beach is a sight to behold at any time of year.
Even nature knows it; turtles of multiple varieties, including green sea turtles, call Seven Mile Beach home, arriving each year to lay their eggs before heading back into the depths of the Caribbean Sea.
If you have yet to visit, make a point of adding a visit to these seven miles of heaven on earth to your bucket list!
