Mark your calendars: Grand Cayman’s 2018 Chalkfest is coming up on Saturday, March 31 from 10AM-1PM. There’s no shortage of family friendly activities around our island, but Chalkfest provides the unique opportunity to participate in an event that also gives back to the community.

The main event is a chalk art competition open to artists of all ages (CI$5/kids and CI$10/adults) with prizes for the different age categories. Proceeds go to The National Gallery Outreach Programme aimed at offering accessible and inclusive activities to different community groups. Chalk is included with your registration fee so all you need is an idea of what to draw! There will also be a market, games, balloon animals, face painting and a live story reading.

When you’re done with Chalkfest, its location in Camana Bay means there’s more to see and do. Considered the “premier Grand Cayman shopping destination” Camana Bay features a mix of big brand stores and smaller local businesses with a variety of dining options.
