Owen Roberts International Airport is located on Grand Cayman Island just east of George Town.

Cayman Airways -has more non-stop flights between Grand Cayman and the US than any other airline; with a daily service from Miami, and regular services from Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago, Houston and Boston.

Cayman Airways also provides connecting regional service to Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica and Havana, Cuba.

Entry Requirements

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of January 8, 2007 everyone, including US Citizens, will require a valid passport to re-enter the United States after visiting the Caribbean.

Presently, if you are from the US, UK, Canada or most Commonwealth countries, an original birth certificate/proof of citizenship and current picture identification is required. Please note that a Voter's Registration Card is not considered valid proof of US citizenship and is not valid ID for re-entry into the US.

All other nationalities will need a passport, and may need a visitor's visa.

All visitors to the Cayman Islands must have a return airline ticket when they arrive on the island, or they will be denied entry to the country.

Transportation

Taxis are available at:

• Owen Roberts International Airport and offer a fixed rate per vehicle or per person to all points on Grand Cayman. Hotel vans cannot provide courtesy arrival pickup at the airport.
• All resorts.
• The cruise ship dock in George Town.

A bus terminal is located on Edward St. in downtown George Town. Daily service starts at 6 am from the depot and buses travel from George Town to West Bay, Bodden Town, East End and North Side return until 11 pm weeknights or midnight on weekends.

Vehicle Rentals

Car Rentals are available at:

• Seven Mile Beach

Rental and driving rules include the following:

• Must be 21 years old (or 25 for some rental agencies - please check)
• Must have a valid drivers license from home country
• Must obtain a temporary drivers license from the car rental agency or police station (fee is $7.50US)
• Must drive on left-hand side of road
• Must wear seat belts.

Moped and Scooter Rentals are also available. Riders must wear a helmet.
